Low trans oil pressure

When the machine is cold, the gauge looks normal, but once it warms up the pressure drops off more than I think it should and at times it even flutters, especially when I shift under load.
Fluid is at the right level and it doesn't look burnt, so I don't think it's just low oil. I dont know if there's a weak pump maybe, aclogged filter, or something but either way, I don't want to ignore it and end up with a transmission rebuild, not like I even know how to anyway
 
Don't ignore fluttering pressure. That's how you cook clutches. If you've ruled out low fluid, next steps are filter, then pressure test the pump when hot. A shop with JCB gauges can tell you real quick if the pump's losing prime or if it's something deeper.
