JCB 1400B Extradig

Is it smoking when you crank it? If not, you might have an issue with fuel getting to the injectors.. I suggest you check your lift pump and make sure the lines aren't blocked. Also crack the lines at the injectors one by one to see if you're getting fuel squirting out.. But if you're getting smoke, then it could be a glow plug issue or maybe even low compression.

Start by checking the fuel system, including the lift pump, fuel filter, and injectors. The Extradig models have been known to struggle with their fuel delivery parts. Don't forget to inspect the glow plugs and the relay as well, these engines require proper preheating to fire up. If the fuel and glow plugs seem fine, go ahead and test the compression. Also, keep an eye out for any air in the fuel lines, and make sure the stop solenoid is receiving power and retracting as it should.

They are right! If the engine turns strongly and you have compression. This is not the issue but it is pointing to fuel delivery and the solenoid circuit.
