With the holiday season wrapped up and the new year upon us I know you're eager to get back to work with your JCBs. What’s the first JCB machine you’re looking to start up this year, or have you already put one to use in 2026?

Started 2026 by firing up my 3CX for a quick site cleanup. After a whole week off during the holidays, just hearing that engine running again was better than coffee.

My first job this year? It was with the mini 1CX, doing some digging in a tight spot. Nothing too big, but getting back in the driver's seat made me remember why I love these small machines.

Began the year running the 4CX on a grading job. It's crazy how just a few days off can make you appreciate the smooth controls and comfy cab all over again.
