What have you done when your turkey stayed solid on the day of?

We kept ours in the sink under cool running water before it hit the oven. It turned out alright, Thanksgiving dinner was saved, the chaos almost ruined our day!

There was a year when our turkey was still frozen, and we had to carve it into smaller pieces to roast it quickly. It wasn’t the prettiest sight, but it managed to feed everyone and became a funny tale for the family.
