Are you traveling or hosting Thanksgiving this year?

I remember one Thanksgiving when I decided to cook the whole meal from scratch despite having no experience. There were smoke alarms going off lots of laughter and believe it or not the turkey turned out pretty good! Now I think twice before I decide to host. So what about you? Do you prefer to host, travel, or just keep things simple?

I tend to keep things straightforward. There was one year when I just took a pie to a friend’s dinner, and it turned out to be just right

That's too funny! I remember trying to whip up a simple apple pie once and I ended up with a crust that was completely burnt and as hard as a rock. These days I’m all about the easy route I'd much rather just grab a dessert from the store
