Testing bucket tilt timing

Spent part of my day testing the bucket tilt timing. Found myself just watching the bucket curl and dump, trying to figure out if the timing felt right or if it was just something I was used to.
What’s your go-to method for quickly checking bucket tilt timing without relying on gauges or guesswork? I’m looking for some straightforward, repeatable checks.

After trying to fix a slow tilt one time, now I count the seconds in my head from when it fully dumps to when it fully curls. If it's the same count every time, it's working right. If the count changes, then something's probably not right.

I use a stopwatch to time how long it takes to fully curl and dump, then I compare it to another machine I trust. If it seems slow or jerky, I know something's up without even getting out the gauges

I don't really look into it too much.
I just lift the bucket a bit off the ground and cycle it all the way a few times.
If it moves smoothly and the same way each time, then it's good to go for me.
