Js 200 no hydraulics

I'm trying to move an old JCB js200, it's been parked up for about 5 years,we got the engine running but there is no life in the hydraulics,oil topped up ,fuses all good safety lock switch on controls seems ok ,any ideas ? Or at least the location of control lock solenoid so I can test that ,thanks in advance

Aside from the service manual being your best friend for locating the control lock solenoid, it's also worth investigating whether the main hydraulic pump itself has an issue or if a primary suction line is blocked or has collapsed.

I'm thinking the control lock solenoid. Try to bypass it and see if that gets the hydraulics going. If so, replace it and you'll be good to go

Great idea, bypassing that solenoid is a clever way to test things out. If the hydraulics kick in, you'll know you've identified the problem.

Try tapping the solenoid gently while someone works the controls. If that doesn't work, trace the wiring back and make sure it's getting power. Five years of sitting could mean corroded connectors too. Why was it parked that long if you don't mind me asking?

I finally managed to get mine up and running after it sat unused for years, but the hydraulics aren't working. I've checked the oil levels, the fuses are all okay, and the safety lock seems to be in good shape. Now, I'm on the hunt for the control lock solenoid so I can give it a test.
