It’s a freezing morning, and as you turn the key, you’re just hoping your engine starts without a fuss.
You’ve experimented with various methods, but which heater is more effective for JCBs, block heaters or intake heaters?

That winter my JCB was NOT having it, so I tossed in a block heater. Now I plug it in at night, and starting it up in the cold feels like cheating. I like intake heaters, but the block heater is a winner in my book.

I started with intake heaters because I thought they'd be easy. But those subzero mornings were still pretty rough. Once I got a block heater, starting it became too easy which is a great thing. Now less stress, more work getting done.

A few winters ago, I learned the hard way that patience is key, after cranking it forever in the dark. A block heater made a huge change, though I still use intake heaters for quick warm ups when I'm low on power.
