Want to get more out of your JCB machine's fuel? Try these simple tips: manage idle time well, control the throttle, keep up with maintenance, and use attachments wisely. What tricks have you found that work?

I got my first JCB 3CX a few months ago and really happy with it! I try not to let it idle too long and I watch how I use the throttle but I’m still learning. Does eco mode help save a lot of fuel? Also wondering if some tools use more fuel than others.

I like your tips, got a few ones myself. first, for older machines, don't overlook a simple injector check. Even slight drips or poor spray patterns will murder your fuel economy and power.
also, a clean air filter makes a huge difference. yeah, it's basic, but a restricted engine drinks fuel trying to breathe!

Good replies. Also keep an eye on your hydraulic systems. Faulty valves or high pressure can burn fuel. Make sure those load-sensing pumps are dialed in and that extra systems aren't draining power when they shouldn't.
