What small improvements are you planning for 2026?

You’ve probably wandered through your workshop a bunch of times lately, spotting those little things you want to change or upgrade nothing major, just some enhancements to simplify your work. What small workshop or equipment adjustments are on your radar for 2026?

Seriously, every time I step into my shop, I see something else that could be better cords everywhere, messy drawers, tools where they shouldn't be. So, for 2026, I'm planning a little makeover: new magnetic tool holders, a rolling cart for projects that move around the garage, and maybe a small cabinet for parts so I stop losing freakin' washers. Small changes, but they'll make a big difference.

Okay, so I was walking around my shop and noticed all these little things that bug me. First thing on my list for 2026? Getting my fastener stuff sorted out. I'm so over digging around for the right bolt all the time.

I spent a year just moving stuff around, but I had to face the truth: my lighting is awful. I'm thinking of slapping a couple of bright LED strips over the bench so I can actually see what I'm doing.

I have some small upgrades planned. My air hose reel has been annoying me, so I'm switching it out for one that mounts on the wall. Plus, I'm putting in a better power strip by the workbench. Nothing major, just those little things that make working in the space nicer.
