Robot 1110 T loader issues

I'm having a bit of trouble with the hydraulic functions on my JCB 1110T. It seems like the loader arms and the bucket just won't move unless I set the throttle up to at least 75%. It's pretty frustrating, especially since it happens whether it's hot or cold. I'm starting to wonder if it might be a faulty MRV, or if there's something else going on that I haven't figured out yet.

It could be a low charge pressure or maybe the pump's just not pulling its weight. MRV might be a factor too, but don't forget to check the CPCV settings. Oh, and take a good look for any internal leaks while you're at it.

I've got a 2004 JCB 1110T I use for clearing brush and moving gravel. Last fall, I had the same problem, the loader arms were slow unless I gave it lots of throttle. My MRV was rebuilt but still didn't work right, and the pressure was too low.Have you checked the pressure when the engine is running slow and fast? Also, has anyone looked at your pump? Mine looked fine but had small wear that caused trouble.

That does sound like it could be the MRV sticking or out of spec, but it could also be a weak charge pump not giving you enough flow at lower RPMs. I'd start by checking system pressures with a gauge before swapping parts, it'll tell you pretty quick if the MRV is bleeding off too early or if the pump's tired

I agree with them! you might consider a pressure test on the main and charge circuits. This can help narrow it down and confirm whether the pump or a control valve is at fault.

Good ideas so far, check for air in the system, low fluid, or if the filter is clogged
