we got this old 2006 Jcb 4cx that's starting to have some drama.
last week, it was return line restrictions, my friend fixed it by replacing the injector return lines.
a few days ago, it started having problems starting. I have to prime the lift pump by turning the ignition on and off about 5 times to make it run.
yesterday, the lift pump started sticking, my friend checked it and replaced all the fuel filters. Since then, the machine no longer starts without a quick starter being sprayed in the intake.
Once started, I can't get above 2000rpm cause it shuts off and will only restart with a quick starter immediately after shutting off
can anyone tell me what I should check and how to fix this?

yeah, it can be air leaks. OP needs to properly bleed the system, try operating the manual priming pump on the lift pump to force air out through the bleed screws, starting with the one on the lift pump and moving to the ones on the filter housing, and finally to the injector pump

Is it the same processs for same year 3c? I had an issue with mine. died on me about two weeks ago and my fuel filter was a little loose so I tighten that up and it seemed to be fine for a couple of weeks and now the plunger on my primer on the fuel filter on the firewall or whatever you call, is stuck in the down position. fluid leakage is noticeable beneath it. I’m about to go purchase a brand new filter right now. I just live 45 minutes from the nearest distributor so i’m hoping that’s all I have to get I’m hoping that’s all I need to get.

I was having issues with my JCB not getting full rpm’s read on a form this tech was having issues with the motor, not getting full RPMs and it turned out to be the intake heater, which I replaced on mine and now it runs great a $24 part
