Inconsistent throttle and joystick responses on my 3CX

Sometimes they work just fine, other times there's noticeable lag, and occasionally they seem to have a mind of their own.
It could be a faulty sensor, some electrical issue, or maybe the ECU's acting up.

What method do you use to diagnose these erratic control responses without resorting to blindly replacing sensors and hoping for the best?

If you can, start by keeping an eye on live sensor data using diagnostic software. Look for any strange readings or dropouts that match the control problems. While you're at it, try moving the harnesses around; you'll quickly see if there's an intermittent connection when you test the wires systematically.

Always check the ground connections first. Bad grounds can lead to some really strange intermittent electrical issues. Clean all the ground points, use some dielectric grease, and see if things get better. This simple fix resolves more mystery problems than you’d think and doesn’t cost much to try
