I bought a used machine, now that its warm out I can only use it for 30-45 minutes before the temp gauge goes into the red. Radiator looks to be 1/3 plugged . What's the best way to clean these? This is NOT the best design, What were they thinking???????

Just start with swinging out the rear door and tip the cooling stack because these machines often have multiple heat exchangers layered right on top of each other. Don't forget to spray the outside because the debris usually gets trapped in the sandwich between the oil cooler and the radiator. Good luck!

Start with air only do not use water unless absolutely caked with mud. They sell a wand specifically for this that you can dip down in between each unit and blast it out the same way it came in. I cleaned my radiator and other coolers that are stacked together a few days ago. Blasted mine for a solid 45 mins with a continuous sand cloud flowing out. Decided not to use water in the end
