I've been on a bit of a rollercoaster, switching between lengthy projects that take time and those quick jobs that you can finish in a day. Both have their upsides, but I can never quite decide which I like better. I’d love to know what everyone else prefers are you more into the long hauls or the speedy wins?

I go back and forth between both too. Some weeks, I just want those easy wins to feel like I'm getting stuff done. Other times, I like getting into a long project because it's cool to just work on it bit by bit.

I used to believe I liked those big projects that take forever, but after doing them for a while, I noticed those quick jobs are neat too. Getting something done in an afternoon feels good when life is crazy.

It really just depends on how I feel. If my week was nuts, I'll do a quick job to feel good right away. But when things are calm, I enjoy working on a long thing – cleaning the shop, fixing something, or doing a project that makes me relax. They both feel good differently.
