Did Your Christmas plans go smoothly?

I thought I had everything organized for Christmas this year, but as usual, a few last-minute surprises came up. I'm curious about everyone else's experiences did your plans go as expected, or did you end up with a few unexpected twists?

I thought I was ready for once, but family stuff changed last minute, and I had to change everything. It wasn’t how I saw it going, but the day was still great. Sometimes the unexpected stuff is the best.

Tried to get ahead this year, but of course, a couple of gifts showed up late, and I had to rush around. But once I wrapped everything and got the food cooking, things came together way better than I thought they would.

Things were going great until I forgot the stuff for one dish and had to run to the store at the last minute. It was a mess, but honestly, it's funny now. Christmas never works out perfectly for me.
