While tinkering in the shed with my JCB, I realized the boom and bucket were moving slower than usual like they could use a strong cup of coffee.
Let’s exchange some practical tips, quick checks, and smart tricks to get those hydraulics back in action without the frustration.
 
Noticed my JCB was acting a bit sluggish after a long day of digging. A quick check of the fluid levels and a look at the filters did the trick, it started moving better. Nothing too complicated, just some basic care in the field.
 
While I was tinkering with mine in the shed, the boom started dragging.
A quick check of the hydraulic pressure, topped off the fluid, and adjusted a few connections.
Simple fixes, but sometimes that's all it takes to get things back on track.
 
Mine slowed down in the middle of a trench, almost like it could've used a strong coffee. I checked the hoses for any kinks, cleaned the filter, and cycled the hydraulics gently. Before I knew it, the boom and bucket were working like they should again all without any major hassle
 
Everything felt sluggish almost like wading through molasses.
Flushed some old fluid, made sure there was no air in the lines, and warmed up the pump a little.
Before I knew it I was back to smooth digging
