Dash lights flickering and radio cutting out where would you check first?

While you're running your JCB, the dashboard lights suddenly flicker and the radio cuts out. Before you blame it on some electrical gremlins, what other things would you think to check first?

I'd start by checking the battery terminals. Just a bit of corrosion or a loose connection can lead to strange electrical issues before anything major goes wrong.

Take a look at the ground strap. It often becomes brittle and corroded over time. A faulty ground can make it seem like there are a dozen other problems, driving you crazy while you try to figure it out.

Give the key a wiggle in the ignition. It might sound silly, but the ignition switch can wear out, and sometimes a little bump is enough to shut down the dash and radio.
