My border collie's my shadow out here. Circles the tractor every single day, like he thinks he's the foreman.

When I was clearing that new field, my old lab was stuck to me like glue. From sunrise to sunset, he was there. He'd crash in the shade while I worked, then walk back to the house with me when I called it a day. Those long days were a lot better with him around.

Got a barn cat that thinks the tractor seat's her throne. At first, it was annoying, but now it feels odd when she's not there riding shotgun.

My goats have become my little buddies. Whenever I'm messing with fences or hauling feed, they show up and stare like they're in charge. Makes the work not so bad, even if they're just hoping for a treat.
